I often heard the opinion that viewing paintings in a gallery feels somewhat artificial because the works are taken out of the context of life/interior and exist in the vacuum of white walls.
But what if we try to imagine the entire gallery space with the exhibited items as an immersive experience where each visitor is inside the art, interacts with the art, and becomes part of the art themselves?
This was the concept we had in mind when developing the interior design of the Gallery with the office and XO painting storage.
The walls remain a light background, while all other interior details (from office partitions to furniture) are exclusive works of art. Together with the exhibited paintings and sculptures, they create a cohesive art piece.
