Our client is a young woman who works in the IT field, enjoys playing the electric guitar, and loves twilight tones and all shades of purple. Initially, we planned to make the entire interior dark, but due to the small size of the apartment and the presence of only one window in the living room, it was decided to keep the common area light and use dark tones in the bedroom and selectively in the living room furniture. In addition to playing with color, we emphasized the combination of complex textures and unusual materials: a plaster botanical panel in the dining area echoes the dark epoxy table in which live flowers are sealed, aged mirrors on the doors of the upper kitchen cabinets reflect sunlight from the only window in the room, and carved doors with ribbed glass allow natural light into every corner of the apartment.
